NEVER POSTED:  Foster Failure 

Saturday afternoon we pulled Dixie and Ginger, a bonded pair from Wake County Shelter. Sadly they have been in and out of the shelter together since 2016 as the owner has been in an out of jail. It also sounds like he has some mental health issues and these girls were brought in because he thought someone was harming them. He will not be allowed to reclaim due to their condition. They both have skin issues that are now being treated. Ginger is estimated to be 12.5 yo and 55lbs. She is listed as a Rhodesian ridgeback mix. She has some skin issues but not as bad as her housemate Dixie. Dixie is a hound mix that is estimated to be 6.5yo and 35lbs. Their time was up at the shelter and BFPA decided to pull. They are currently being boarded until a foster is found

Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
