Meet Onyx...a beautiful, sweet 9-month-old Vizsla mix that came to us about 4-5 months ago emaciated with his 2 brothers. We don’t know too much of his story as the litter was dumped at a rural shelter, but it was undoubtedly sad. We love Onyx but are realizing he would do best as an only dog.  He is fiercely protective, does not like other dogs except his pack, and is food aggressive towards dogs but not people at all.  He is a very smart boy, loves to play fetch and take walks but must be leashed if not in a physical fence. He is fully vetted and already potty and crate trained. Onyx deserves a chance. He is so loving and is content on your lap. He is also a great size and weight, short hair but I couldn’t tell you if he sheds because I have other dogs that do shed a lot.
