Kon'nichiwa, I’m Tanooki! I got my name because I have a stripey tail, like a raccoon. But other than the raccoon tail, I’m a purebred Sweetheart. I love hanging out with my brother Tamaki and snuggling with my human friends. In fact, when you pick me up for snuggles, I go totally limp and melt right into your lap.

I also have a fun side and need a lot of play time. I would do best in a home with another cat to play with (my brother Tamaki and I are pretty tight…just sayin’). I also get along with dogs and would enjoy playing with a kid who knows how to play with kittens.

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
