Niko is a super friendly, @two year old, red nose pit bull.  He is currently 60 pounds but could be anywhere from 60-85 pounds.  He gets along with other dogs but has not had any interaction with cats yet.  He has been around children 10 years old and up and did good minus the fact that he likes to give hugs. We are working on that and he is doing better. He was around a week-old baby and when he heard the cry, he kept trying to see her but because he likes to give hugs, I have not yet let him in touching distance.

Niko is totally housebroken.  During the day I usually take him outside every couple hours to play around and potty.  He really wants to play but even more than that he just wants love and attention. He will lounge around all day if you want but shouldn't because he is a baby and needs play time.  A fenced yard is necessary in his forever home so he can get his energy out in the yard.  Niko could be an only dog or join a family with furry siblings that he would love to play with in the yard.

Niko is crate trained!  He knows when I say" kennel up" to go in, he usually understands when I open the crate. When he is in the crate,  if I'm still in the room, he is quiet, but if I am leaving him alone, he will cry for a little and try to break out.  At night,  most times he sleeps in his crate, but he loves to snuggle so occasionally he sleeps in the bed.    We are working on leash walking and he still pulls some but is doing good.

Niko's favorite thing to do is run in the hallways of my apartment. He loves to run around and body wrestle. He is shy with toys, but we are working on that, he likes balls he can kick around.  Niko is the sweetest baby I've met. He deserves a loving home, he has so many strong points : People friendly, dog friendly, ferret friendly, potty trained, crate trained, gives lots of kisses and cuddles. The absolute most perfect family pet.
