FOSTER COMMENTS: Frieda is a 20 pound, 12 years young, beagle mix girl. She's a happy wiggly snuggly girl. Her tail wags her whole body!
She gets along great with my ever changing pack of residents, fosters, and boarding dogs. She loves to cuddle up to the other dogs. I don't know how she will do with cats but she's met chickens through a fence and they didn't bother her. I don't know if she's been around kids. She would probably love them. Frieda is crate trained. She goes in with a treat. She stays in her crate while I'm at work. Sleeps quietly all night in her crate but I bet she'd like to sleep in a person's bed. If I have been out and return home, she is very vocal. She will bark until I let her out of her crate. Frieda is totally housebroken. I'm not gone more than 4 or 5 hours at a time during the day and there is no problem when I return. She holds it all night no problem too. Frieda's happy to hang out and snuggle all day, but this girl loves to walk and do things too. Beagles don't have great recall so I wouldn't let her loose. I have a fenced yard and she goes out to potty and explore. Frieda does well on a leash when we walk. She is a beagle, she likes to sniff things on the walk. Freida is a cuddle bug, and loves to get snacks. She is looking for her forever home as a solo dog or to join your pack. Is your home right for this total sweet heart that has the cutest graying face? EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:
BFPA took in 5 beagles from a rural county shelter. There were a total of 17 dogs surrendered as the owner has cancer and could no longer care for them.
