FOSTER COMMENTS:
Meet Freddy, a 10 year old, male Beagle mix who weighs 26 pounds. He loves to play with toys, go for walks, ride in the car, explore, and snuggle up near his people.
He is very friendly to people and other animals. He has gotten along well with every dog he's met and loves to play. We don't have cats so are not sure how he would do with them. Freddy has met children as young as 1 and seems to approve of their affection and likes to give them kisses :) Freddy is an overall quiet dog. Currently, he is only crated when his fosters leave home. One of his fosters works from home and Freddy spends his day in the home office napping or playing with toys. At night, Freddy very much wants to cuddle up with his fosters in their bed, but he sleeps in his own bed on the floor. He is a snorer! Freddy is housebroken. He would benefit from going out during the day if he is going to be allowed to roam. He sleeps well through the night and has had no accidents or asked to go out. Freddy has great energy. He can be playful and zoomie and he can be relaxed and calm (which is what he is most of the time!) He likes to play with various toys, run in the yard, take walks, and get all the pets. Freddy likes to explore his fosters' yard to find weak spots in their 4 ft high split rail fence in order to execute his escape plan! Future adopters should know that Freedy needs to either be supervised in the yard or they should have a taller, more impenetrable fence! Freddy loves to go on walks he does pull some, but with the right slip leash or harness, he is very manageable. Freddy is so loving and sweet and is great company. He would be a great companion for any family. He is cuddly, fun, and brightens up everything when he is around. He would be good for a family with children or anyone looking for a constant companion. Freddy would be fine as the only dog in the home if his humans are around most of the time. He would also enjoy being part of a pack but he would likely want to be the top dog. He is truly the sweetest, most lovable dog I've come across in a long time! EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: FREDDY was surrendered by his owner, who had cancer and could no longer care for him and the 16 dogs he lived with. These dogs were living outside however they were socialized well with people. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.
