Please go directly to BFPA.ORG if you are reading about this dog on another website. The BFPA website will provide more information. All dogs on our website ARE available. Callie is timid at first and will bark because she nervous. She loves to play with other dogs. She could care less about the cats in her foster home. She does not live with children but I am sure she would do fine.
She is crate trained but will need help getting used to it and liking it. It is not her favorite space now. She walks great on a leash with a harness. Her favorite thing is playing with other dogs and playing chase with them. Callie would not do well in an apartment, townhouse or condo where she would hear neighbors or activity close by. She does bark at sounds and would be too vocal.
Callie is a big snuggler when she knows and trusts you. Could this little girl come snuggle with you?
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Callie was surrendered to a shelter because the owner lived in an apartment and Callie barked too much. Best Friend Pet Adoption will NOT consider anyone living in an apartment because she will not do well in such an environment.
