EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: River is a beautiful 9 month old hound mix puppy who weighs 40 pounds and may be 50-60 when fully grown. He is a sweet, goofy boy who has a lot of love to give. River might take awhile to warm up to new people but then is very friendly He loves other dogs and likes to play. River is interested in cats, but does not bark or chase them. He would be fine with dog savvy cats.
He's good with children but still has a lot of puppy energy and behaviors, so will do best with older children. He likes his crate and sleeps there all night.
He enjoys walks and hiking so will do well with an active family. River needs a fenced yard and since he is used to living with multiple dogs, he would love a home with another canine companion.
River loves belly rubs, to cuddle with his people or other dogs, naps in the sun and playing with his stuffed toys. Could River be a good fit for your family?
