Meet Ginger who is 8 weeks old and weighs around 5 lbs! Her Mother weighs 12 lbs so she is apt to be around the same size or a bit larger when full grown. She will be ready for adoption on 9/29. She is a typical puppy who will need to be housebroken, so she will need to be taken outside often. She is a fun loving puppy who can't wait to see what the world has to offer. While puppies can be a lot of fun, they also require a lot of patience and training. An adopter needs to be ready for the challenge that comes with training a puppy!
An adopter needs to live within 30 minutes of the Cary/Raleigh area. You must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption which will occur after the dog is spayed/neutered after 4 months of age. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.
NOTE: Biscuit has only had one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines (end of October) , the potential adopters will have to keep her in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs. Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks and any public areas must be avoided during this time. Ginger must have her own yard and cannot live in apartment, townhouse or condos where her feet would be touching common grounds until the end of October.

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.
All animals will be up to date on all
vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption
is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
