FOSTER COMMENTS: 

Alley is a 42 pound, 4 year old Husky mix. She is a loving dog who needs to be an only dog.  She is currently living with cats and could do well with a dog savvy cat.  Alley is great with children of all ages.   

Alley can be selective with canine friends so she may not do well in dog parks or doggie day care.  She does like to play with other dogs but she needs to know the dog and feel comfortable with them and their play style. 

Alley has a lot of energy and will need a lot of walks or a fenced yard. She would make a great running or hiking partner.  She loves walks and does great on a leash.  She needs daily exercise.  

Alley also loves to play with her toys in the house and will need someone who will engage and play with her at times. 

Alley is housebroken and crate trained.  She may whine just a little but will settle down quickly. 

Alley is fantastic in the car and just the perfect size. Alley has so much love to give and is hoping you will consider making her a part of your life.

Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.
