FOSTER COMMENTS: 

Roxie  is a beautiful, fully grown,  one and a half year old girl at 64lbs. She has had her DNA analyzed and is 43% pit bull, 13% golden retriever, 11% chow chow, 8% german shepard, 7% English Springer, 7% Rottweiler, and the remainder is supreme blend.

Roxi loves her humans with all of her heart. She will do anything she can to please you and wants nothing more than to get pets. She is very easy to train and picks up on new behaviors and routines quickly.  She is extremely friendly with people and is very gentle and loves children.  She is great with cats and loves to boop our kitty.  Roxie will let you know when a visitor is coming.  She  is vocal when visitors arrive but quickly quiets down when asked.

Roxie is totally housebroken.  She can go roughly 8 hours between potty breaks.  She has a moderate energy level with spurts of high energy followed by log naps. We currently have a fenced in yard but Roxi does not like to leave her humans side so it is not necessary for her forever home.  We are leash walking Roxie.  She does great and responds well to positive reinforcement and will stay right by your side.

Roxie is well behaved in our home.  She does not destroy or bark when left alone.  At night she is a cuddle bug and sleeps right next to me.  Roxies favorite things to do are playing with her kongs and cuddling.  Roxie is very intelligent.  She knows basic commands…sit, stay, come. She learns quickly because she loves to please her people.  

Roxi will make an amazing companion to any home where she will be the only dog. She loves her humans and always wants to stick right by their sides. She has lived with a fence for the past 6 months but does not wander away from her humans. She adores men, women, children, teens, really anyone who will give her a pet and tell her she is a good girl. She also has the best smile!
