Dash is a 10 week old, 10 lb. Labrador Retriever mix puppy.  He is estimated to be about 50 pounds at full size.  Dash is a wonderful, friendly,  playful dog.   He loves to be held and loves to be affectionate!  

Dash is very outgoing and enjoys playing with both people and dogs.  Dash has done well with young children.    Unlike other puppies, Dash has not nipped, he's not mouthy.  Dash has not been tested with cats.  

We are working on potty training and doing well. He also is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night.  Dash will be vocal and whine in his crate to let you know he needs to be let out.  Since Dash is just a puppy, he will need to go out in a fenced yard or for a walk about every 3 to 4 hours.  Dash has walked on a leash and he does well.

Dash is an all around great dog and will be a wonderful addition to an active family.  He would love to live with another dog or with a family that has a human around most of the time.  

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:

Dash was found as a stray and brought to a rural shelter.  He was posted on lost dog sites and no one came forward to claim him.  BFPA stepped up to help Dash find his forever home. 

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hour's drive of Cary NC.

Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
