Paco is a 15 lb. one year old Chihuahua mix. He is fun and friendly, full of energy and would make a great playmate for a household full of energy. Paco was timid when he first came to us. Today he is friendly and happy to meet everyone! Paco loves other dogs and his favorite thing to do is to play with our lab. Playing with our cat is his second favorite although he does get a little rough sometimes. I think he could be an only dog in his forever home but would prefer a friend. Paco has been around several children and does well. He does nip if a little one is holding food so he is best suited around older children. Paco is housebroken but still has an occasional accidents. Keeping him on a regular schedule helps. He can go about 4 hours between potty breaks. For a small dog, Paco has lots of energy. It would be great to have a fenced in “chain link” type fence, otherwise he may be able to squeezes through. He loves to run around the yard. We have not taken him on leash walks but he does well on a leash when going in and out of the vet. We crate Paco with our Lab and he does great and will stay there for several hours when we leave the house. He has never been created alone. At night, he sleeps in several places around the house but his favorite are, a comforter on a bench at the bottom of the bed, our blanket basket with a fluffy blanket, and our large beanbag chair. Paco loves to play with the other animals; play with dog toys, run and most important snuggle next to you on a warm blanket! Paco would love to meet you and show you how special he is. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:
Paco was found as a stray in a parking lot. He was posted on lost dog sites and no one came forward to claim him. BFPA stepped up to help Paco find his forever home.
