FOSTER COMMENTS: Bailey is a 2-year-old, 46 lb. hound mix dog. If you are looking for a constant loyal companion, Bailey is it. Because he loves his people, he would do best in a home with someone that is there throughout the day working from home, stay at home or retired. He tends to bond to the lady of the house but is not afraid of men. When meeting new people, Bailey can be timid at first, but once introduced, he is super friendly. While he is good with other dogs, being the only dog may be best for him; he can get a little jealous when he’s not getting all the attention. He ignores cats and has not been tested with small children. Bailey loves to run so he would need a fenced yard to get enough physical exercise. He gets his energy out in the yard and is very calm inside the house. He is very athletic and agile turning, cutting and weaving in a flash. He loves to play "keep away" with sticks, toys and chase balls. Bailey also likes to go on walks with his people; still learning his leash/harness manners. He is completely crate trained and housebroken. He is a quiet dog but is good at guarding, loving to please. He’s a super good boy! Would you consider making Bailey a part of your family? He will love your forever if you do!
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY : Bailey was found as a stray and turned into a shelter. He was not claimed, so BFPA took this sweet boy in and will find him a forever home.
