You MUST submit an application to be considered. FOSTER COMMENTS: Howlo! I’m Ramona, aka Mona. I am estimated to be about 9 years old, but my foster mom says I’m “spry”, whatever that means. I like sleeping during the day, going for walks, hikes, and car rides, playing with other dogs, and stealing the “good” bed from my foster brother. Because I’m older, my “husky” personality traits are muted quite a bit. For example, I don’t like to “Husky talk” all the time - just when I play. My foster mom says I just like to show off how smart I am. I am house trained and can be trusted being left out most of the time. I do like to steal food off of counters and will graze the pantry if left open, so it’s best to make sure you keep food out of my reach. My foster mom keeps telling me how much she will miss me when I leave, but she says it’s time for me to find a family I can call my own so that she can continue helping other senior dogs get out of the shelter and find their new forever homes! I am hoping you will consider adopting me so you can help both me and my foster make our wishes come true!
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:
Ramona came into a shelter malnourished and with a skin infection. Since BFPA pulled her and got her into a foster home, she has regained her health and let her sweetheart of a personality shine through. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We prefer that applicants live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized. Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials, and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions. So ideally, we like adopters to live within an hour but for the right home, we may consider adopters who live a bit further. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING RAMONA?
