She is a wonderful companion for someone who can walk and play with her every day. She is very dog friendly. Tali is very friendly after she gets to know you and feels comfortable. She is wonderful with other dogs, including large dogs. She has no experience with children, but she would do better with older children in a relatively quiet house. We are working on housetraining. She is learning very quickly and goes outside if taken out often enough. I have a fenced yard, but she loves her walks too. Tali gets a walk every day, she has learned very quickly but is very afraid of loud vehicles or noises. She would be fine being walked, but she still is afraid of stairs! So, an apartment on the second or higher floor would not work for her Tali is crate trained! She does not soil in her crate and is very quiet while crated, provided she gets enough exercise. She has been left alone with my dogs for several hours at a time and all was fine. At night, Tali sleeps in our bedroom, in her crate. She is very good overnight. Tali loves to play with my Chihuahua and toys. She likes to chew so I give her bull sticks or other chews and that keeps her occupied. She would do better with another dog for companionship and confidence, but could be an only dog if her humans were with her most of the time. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Tali was found as a stray and turned into the local animal shelter. No one came to claim her so BFPA stepped up and is helping her find her forever home.
