Bea is a 12 yo senior Chihuahua female dog who weighs 9 lbs.   Bea is a friendly and confident dog despite her difficult life.  Bea was part of a cruelty case and surrendered to animal control. She is deaf and blind in one eye.  Best Friends Pet Adoption is committed to finding this pup a forever home where she is cared for and loved by a kind human.  She deserves nothing less than a safe, loving home.

Our home has other dogs of all sizes.  Bea does well with all of them.  She could be an only dog and I think she would be happy as an only dog!

Bea is low energy so no fenced yard is necessary.   Leash walking will suffice for her needs.   Bea is housebroken with often potty breaks.  She will go to the door when she wants to go outside so you have to be aware she is waiting there. 

Bea has  never been around cats or kids.  Due to her past abuse, she would do better in a home with no small children.  

Despite her past, Bea is full of love.  She is searching for her humans who will give  her a loving and safe home.  This may be the best part of her life.

Applicants must live a reasonable able distance from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
