Meet one of the National Park puppies! Kenai is a very outgoing puppy who is waiting to explore the world with her forever humans. She loves to play, eat and of course nap. She sleeps in a crate at night and is doing well with housebreaking.
Kenai understands that outside is the right place for doing her business and will go to the door. Since she is young, she doesn't have a lot of control yet. So adopters need to watch for her clues that she needs to go outside.
Kenai will probably be 45-50 lbs when full grown. Is there a place in your heart for this pretty gal?
ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue. Any children in the home under 6 years old ideally should have experience being around dogs. Puppies can nip, bite and mouth so may not be appropriate for very young children.
