IF YOU MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTING A PUPPY, PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR WAFFLES. The application can be found below or at bfpa.org. You MUST submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application to be considered.

Meet one of the Breakfast Puppies! Waffles is a very outgoing puppy who is waiting to explore the world with her forever humans. She loves to play, eat and of course nap. Waffles will probably be at least 60 lbs when full grown. Is there a place in your heart for this pretty gal?

Waffles will be a joy to have in your home.  Adopters need to realize that puppies take time and effort but the payoff is having a wonderful friend in your life.  Waffles will have the usual puppy tendency to nip and play bite.  So young children may not be the best fit for her. 

NOTE: Since Waffles has only had one set of vaccines, she must live where she has her own dedicated yard to minimize her exposure to parvovirus. Adopters will need to keep her only in their own yard and home until she receives her second vaccine. People who don't have a yard will only be considered after her second set of vaccines in mid-August.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue. Any children in the home under 6 years old ideally should have experience being around dogs.

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
