FRED IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
Fred (Freddie) is an almost 3 year old, male pug mix, weighing 17 pounds. He is a very sweet little boy whose owner lost his home and could no longer care for him. He is looking for a new family to love. With people, Freddie is a bit timed at first and then warms up quikly and is very friendly. He does very well with school aged children. I have not seen him with younger children or cats. He gets along great with all dogs. Freddie is a very quiet dog and only barks when someone comes to door with just one or two quick little barks. Freddie is newly housebroken so he needs to go out regularly or stay in his crate when no one is around. At night Freddie sleeps in his crate with no problems. Freddie is a low/moderate energy dog. She is happy to sit with you and be petted. He also loves to run around the backyard and play with my other dogs. He will also chase any toy you throw, although he is not the best about bringing it back! Currently A fenced yard is a necessary as he has not walked on the leash yet. Freddie came from a home with other dogs. He has never been without another dog but I think he could be an only dog if given lots of attention from his adopter. Freddie is extremely sweet and gentle. He likes nothing more than being with his person, whether playing or watching TV. He has lost all he knew and deserves a loving family to call his own. Can you be that new family? EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Fred lived with two other dogs. His owner lost his home and could no longer care for them. Best Friends Pet Adoptions took in the dogs and will help them find their forever homes.
