FOSTER FAILURE. Are you looking for an adoptable puppy to be a part of your family? Kia is the girl for you! Please submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application at https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC .
Kia is a 10-12 weeks old and is a healthy, happy, friendly puppy who is ready to find her forever home now. Her Mother is a 60+lb Rottweiler mix. Kia has her momma's markings. Her Dad could have been a husky mix because Kia has one blue eye and one brown eye. She is so cute! She likes to play and would love a home with another dog. She is working on housebreaking but since she is so young, she will need to go outside on a regular basis to reinforce her training. Someone who works from home would be ideal.
ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-60 mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. An adopter will need to bring her to the Raleigh area for any medical care that is required before her adoption is finalized after she is spayed at around 6 months of age. Any children in the home under 6 years old ideally should have experience being around dogs. Puppies can nip, bite and mouth so may not be appropriate for very young children.
