You MUST submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application on our website and be approved prior to being considered to adopt Nick. Here is the link to our application. https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC. My name is Nick and I am currently being fostered in a house with my mom and two young dogs. We have so much fun playing together! And we do a great job tiring each other out. Since my foster mom works from home, I only use my crate at night. I also have a contained area to play safely while my foster mom works. Or her teenage son will cuddle with me while he does his schoolwork, so I don’t feel lonely. I love chew toys and squeaky toys. I’m great at chasing a ball but not quite ready to give it back to my foster mom or her son. Although I chew on my leash just a little, I really do enjoy walks and/or running around the yard and can’t wait until I’m old enough to make an awesome running and/or hiking partner. Because of my energy, I would love a fenced in backyard and a playmate. I love having other dogs around. I’m eager to find my forever family for snuggles and play. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. Applicants should live within 30-60 minutes of Raleigh/Cary as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being being finalized after they are altered at 4-6 months old. Adopters must be willing to bring their puppy to the Raleigh area for all medical care needed. We do home visits to finalize all adoptions. We therefore require applicants to live locally.
