You MUST submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application and be approved prior to being considered to adopt Krackel.  Here is the link to our application.     https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC   .

Krackel is a cute, fun loving puppy who is looking for his forever home   He was born on 12/17/2023 to a momma dog that BFPA rescued.  So he has always been around humans and other dogs.  His Mom is a 50 lb lab mix but we feel Krackel will be larger when fully grown.

Krackel is as cute as can be!  He  is a very sweet, smart little boy.  He loves to play with his sister who is also in the foster home. He loves people and other dogs.   Krackel is the cuddle-bug and will roll over for belly rubs at the slightest hint he can get one!    He also lives with cats and has learned to be  respectful.

Krackel is working on potty training and is doing very well.  He is also getting used to a doggie door that goes into a small yard area that is safe for a puppy. He will need to be taken outside on a regular basis to become fully housebroken.   Adopters who are not home during the day will need to have a plan which includes how to manage potty breaks.

Krackel is a quiet puppy who will bark and growl when playing.  But he doesn't  bark for attention or food....wonderful! He is used to being in a puppy pen with a crate inside the pen.  He will sit quietly at the edge of the pen waiting for food and attention.  Then he will eat and play with his sister.   They are both great puppies who will make wonderful additions to your family.

He only has one set of puppy vaccines, so will still be susceptible to diseases.  Any adopter will need a home that has their own yard. Krackel cannot live in apartments where he would be sharing common space where other dog may have been.  He cannot take potty breaks where other unknown dogs may have walked until her second vaccine around March 9th.

Puppies may play bite and nip.  So they may not be appropriate for very young children especially if they do not have experience around dogs.

Applicants need to live no further than one hour from Raleigh/Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a local BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized. Krackel will be  altered at 5-6 months old.  Adopters must be willing to bring any puppy to the Raleigh/Cary area for all medical care needed.  F oster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within one hour drive of Raleigh/Cary NC.
