Hey there! My name is Ember. You might think I got my name because of my black scruffy fur, but I am actually named for the nice firefighters who found me walking toward I-40 when they were responding to a car accident. Scary, right? I’m glad I’m safe in a foster home, but I would love a forever home!

Let me tell you more about me: I am the BEST cuddler! I also love giving and getting kisses. I pretty much love everyone I meet and would be the perfect party host! I also enjoy all the kitty things, like kicker toys, zoomies, and climbing the cat tree. I need a home with another kitty friend to play with, but I also get along really great with dogs. I would do best with kids who are a little older with kitty experience.

I am also the most adorable door greeter! When you come home, I’ll want to hear all about your travels—while you’re getting out the wet food to fix me a snack.

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
