Hello there, I’m Amy! Now, I might look serious, but don’t let my facial expressions fool you; I am a very happy-go-lucky lady!

I am just a few months old and have learned a lot about being an inside cat since I was rescued from the big, scary outdoors! I love the new VIP life, though. I get to relax and lie stretched out on a comfy bed, and I have lots of toys to play with! My sister Tammy and I have so much fun chasing toys (and each other) around the house. I’ve been around dogs, so I’m sure I would get along great with a dog with a proper introduction.

At first, I can seem a little shy, but once I’m warmed up and feeling secure in my surroundings, I am a little ray of sunshine! If you want a little sunshine in your life, contact Best Friend Pet Adoption (adoption@bfpa.org) and tell them you want to meet Amy!

Dogs:  Must have kitty manners

Other cats:  Good with others, needs a friend

Kids:  Over 8 with kitty experience

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
