Meet Pumpkin! A beautiful 35 lb Foxhound who is 4-5 years old spayed female. She is not crated but can be allowed to free roam if the room is puppy proofed.  She is not destructive to furniture, etc. and will usually keep herself occupied with chew items.  She will ride in the car but won’t jump in by herself. She is housebroken and walks well with her harness and loves to sniff.

Pumpkin has never met an adult, child or other dog she didn’t love.She is very friendly.  She has not been cat tested so we are not sure how she will do living with a cat.  

As she is a foxhound, she is a bit vocal at times when she has something to say. She does howl on occasion so would probably not be suitable for apartment living. A nice secure fence or enclosure outside would be nice for her sun bathing and relaxing. She has moderate energy level. She loves to play with her toys and can entertain herself.

Pumpkin can be left home alone but probably not for 8-10 hours. She could be an only dog if she has enough daily enrichment but would probably prefer a playmate. She is more submissive than dominant.
