Hi, I’m Charley, and I’m a 1-year-old chocolate lab mix. I am 50 lbs of pure cuteness and have the most beautiful gold eyes you have ever seen. My foster mom says I am the sweetest girl who just wants to please her family! I have never met a human that I didn’t just love or who didn't love me. Can you blame them? I am a pretty special little lady! My favorite things to do are playing with my foster fur brothers and cuddling with my foster mom. I do get a little nervous meeting new dogs, but once I warm up, I can play with the best of them. In the morning, I immediately go outside to potty, eat breakfast, and then I run a few laps around the yard with my foster fur brothers. During the day, I sit perfectly quiet under my foster mom’s desk while she works. Once she’s done with work, I eat again, play some more, and try to get some snuggle time in before bed. I’m still working on manners – and am trying hard to not pick things up that don’t belong to me or jump on people when they come home. But, I am crate and potty trained and I am super smart. With a little consistency and patience, I should be the best girl ever in no time. I prefer to sleep on the bed with my foster mom but don’t mind going into my crate if you prefer to have your own personal space. Since I am a lab mix and on the young side, I really need an active home ideally with a fenced yard. I am used to having a human with me during the day, so would love that same environment. I would also enjoy a confident canine companion to play with, but I'm also happy being an only dog as long as my humans are up for playtime! Do you think you should like the forever home I am looking for? Give it some thought and then please submit an application to adopt me. I will be looking forward to meeting you!
