Meet Apricot who is part of the sweet Jam Litter. This sensitive little soul is looking for a forever spot that will help him become his most confident and happy self. Apricot LOVES people and would like to spend all day with them, please! He would love to live with a family that has human home much of the time.

He is a cautious fella but getting braver every day. He has started crate training and learning it's not too bad. Adopting Apricot will also include a free spot in a puppy socialization class.   Proper socialization is so important when a dog is young. Could you consider this little guy for your new family member?

Puppies have a tendency to cry/bark when left alone, so applicants living in a multi-family home with shared walls ideally should be home most of the time.  Puppies can nip and play bite and might not be appropriate for young children who are not dog savvy.

Apricot is part of a puppy litter that someone was giving away for free.  Best Friend Pet Adoption admitted them to our rescue to make sure they have proper medical care and find loving homes.   Could one of those homes be with you?

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants ideally should live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a Best Friend Pet Adoption veterinarian in the Cary area for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.   Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore prefer applicants live within an hours drive of Cary NC.
