EVERY DOG HAS A STORY (What is dog's history?): BFPA were alerted to a litter of puppies in Harnett County Shelter. The shelter was full and closing for the Easter weekend, so a volunteer raced down to collect them. On arrival at the shelter, only two pups were left, so we were happy to scoop them up into our care. Abbie and her big brother Archie are being fostered together as they wait for their new families to find them. ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ABBIE?
