FOSTER DOG INFORMATION

Sunshine is a 9 year old, female Pit Bull Terrier weighing 49 pounds!  She is a very friendly girl looking for a family to love.

Sunshine gets along great with other dogs but gets overly excited when she sees cats. She does great with children too.  She is a relatively quiet dog.  She will bark to alert you when the door bell rings or in our fenced back yard when there are noises.  She is house broken and can go up to 10 hours without having to go to the bathroom.  Sunshine is crate trained.  She sleeps mostly on her bed or the couch and sometimes in her crate at night and when we are not home.  

Sunshine's activity level is moderate.  She is 9 years old but can still get the zoomies and get excited.  We don't think she needs a yard as long as she gets good walks and she walks great on a leash.  Sunshine loves to lay in the sun, so if she has a yard to lay in the sunshine that would be great but a sunny window inside would do the trick also.

Sunshine's favorite things to do are laying in the sun and sitting in someone's lap!  She is a very smart dog that knows her commands and loves her people.  She would do well in a home with or without another dog.  She does not like fireworks, thunderstorms or loud noises.

Sunshine is an easy and great natured dog. If you want a dog to do everything with your and be your best friend she is the one.  Sunshine really loves people so much, she wants to be with a family again or have a person there a lot with her.  

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Sunshine was adopted as a puppy and had a great life with her adopter until recently.  Her adopter fell upon hard times and knew she could not give Sunshine the proper care and life that she deserves.  Sadly, she was returned to  Best Friend Pet Adoption. We are now looking for her next home with a family y to love and to love her back. Could this be your family??
