CRATETRAINED: Yes LEASH MANNERS: Doing really well. Learning to walk on the leash, really doesnât pull much. CAR RIDES: Good FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Jagger is now living in the Cary area, and is experiencing the life of the ordinary inside house dog. He lives with his 3 foster sisters, two beagles and a typical brown mutt. He also lives with Xerxes the cat, who has let Jagger know who really runs the house. Jagger doesnât care about Xerxes anyways. Heâs much more happy to snuggle with the other dogs, go for walks outside or to just get some human loving - a typical day for him. He doesnât have a mean bone in his body and is generally friendly and happy. Jagger is learning about toys, and it is apparent, this is new for him. He does quite well with all the commotion in his foster familyâs house, which includes the comings and goings of older children and their pets for short visits. He is picking up quickly the house rules, how to communicate his needs and what behaviors are acceptable â he is a fast learner. Although he is fine in a crate, he spends most of his time out of it with his buddies. He would do well with a family or a single owner. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Jagger is originally a beach bum from the Outer Banks area. Lucky for him, he was found by a young pharmacist who lives in that area. She realized that he had been abandoned and would do well in a loving home. Jagger is the 38th dog this young woman has saved from âthe streets,â and she claims that he is the nicest one by far, that she has found. Since she already had her own pets, she contacted BFPA to see if they could help him find his furrever home.
