She is good with other dogs and cats, she loves to play with her toys. Her favorite pastime is playing tug of war with her rope toy. Ivy would love a forever home to call her own with a family who likes to snuggle with her. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Ivy and her siblings (Isaac and Isabelle) had a rough start to life. After their mother was killed, they were dumped at an underfunded rural shelter where they didn't stand much of a chance. When BFPA heard of their situation they jumped and raced to get these 3 to loving foster homes. Miraculously, none of these sweet pups had to spend even 1 night in the shelter. Ivy is now waiting patiently for her new family to find her. ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING IVY?
