HEALTH STATUS: UTD on all vaccines and on monthly flea/tick & heartworm prevention SPAYED OR NEUTERED: Yes MICROCHIPPED: Yes AROUND DOGS: Oscar is very friendly and loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home. AROUND CATS: Not tested. Currently does not have any cats in his foster home. AROUND CHILDREN: He has not been exposed to children but very friendly around all people, however due to his size and enthusiasm, he might not be a fit for a family with very small children. HOUSEBROKEN: Yes CRATETRAINED: Yes, with plenty of chew toys to keep him occupied. LEASH MANNERS: Yes CAR RIDES: Oscar loves to ride in the car and enjoys when we crack the window to let him stick is nose out and smell! FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Oscar is happy, playful and curious. He is so loving that sometimes he doesnât understand that he is not a lap dog! He loves to go on daily walks and romp around the back yard with the other dogs. Oscar really enjoys his exercise and play time, he would do well with an active family who want to include him in daily walks and adventures! Once he's had his fun he will curl up and be content to watch you. Oscar would love a home with another dog to play with and a fenced in back yard for romping around. He would do great with older kids and would curl up in bed with a willing family member. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Oscar had been found as a stray but his owners were not found. A loving couple adopted him from Wake County Animal Shelter as a playmate for their other their dogs, but found did not have the time needed for play and exercise.
