I'm George or Georgio or Georgie Porgie...and they tell me I have a one-of-a-kind smile. I think they're just trying to be nice because what I really have is one jacked up grill! I've got an overbite with some wonky teeth and my lips just aren't quite right. But it doesn't slow me down or stop me from smiling because I just have so much to be happy about. I think the world could use more smiles like mine. I challenge you to not smile back when I smile at you. I win at this game all the time. To my future forever family, I promise to smile at you every day and always greet you with some ferocious tail wags and great enthusiasm. If you give me belly rubs, I will be your lap dog. If you throw a ball, I will fetch it. And if you love me and my crooked smile, I will be yours for all of my days! FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: This happy young dog (who still has the innocent world view of a puppy) would love a family of his own. He knows no strangers when it comes to people and shows you his love with his constantly wagging tail! Breakfast and dinner are his favorite times of the day, and he loves to play fetch. Georgio can't wait to meet his forever family and show them all the love he has to give! EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Georgio had been abandoned and taken into a shelter in Tarboro, his time was up when BFPA heard about him... we were glad to help and a rescue effort began to bring him to us! This sweet and affectionate dog is now waiting patiently for his forever family to find out what a wonderful dog he is!
