CRATETRAINED: In training, but doing very well! LEASH MANNERS: In training. CAR RIDES: In training. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: He loves life and everything around him. Very well adjusted, has just fit into the household well. Loves to be outside catching the leaves or chasing someone, but is happy to chew on his toys inside too. Likes to cuddle and is learning to kiss rather than nibble on you! A bundle of fun! EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: This darling little puppy and his four siblings have been through so much in their short lives so far. They were found under a mobile home when they were just two weeks old. Their mother had gone missing, or abandoned them and sadly two of their siblings had passed away. The remaining puppies were scooped up and placed in loving foster homes where they were bottle fed until ready to be weaned. They have thrived and are happy and healthy puppies. Now on regular puppy food River enjoys every mouthful! He is looking for that perfect place to hang his leash! ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.
