FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Please meet sweet Finn. Finn has an amazing personality. He is outgoing, social and fearless. He is simply an absolute bundle of joy. He was the first one to do everything from nursing, walking, escaping the whelping box and playing. Finn is always discovering the wonders of the world that is outside the whelping box. Finnâs mommy is an 18 pound Jack Russell/Beagle mix, therefore we donât expect Finn to get bigger than 20-25 pounds.
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: This adorable family was very lucky to have been saved by BFPA. Emily was surrendered by her owner to the Sheriffâs office in a very rural County. The Sheriffâs Office called Animal Control where she was due to be euthanized due to being highly pregnant and stressed in the shelter environment. Luckily, BFPA found out about her plight and rushed to her rescue. After being in foster care for a few weeks, Emily gave birth to 4 wonderful puppies.
ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.
