AROUND CATS: Untested, but we feel she would be fine with a dog-savvy cat due to Tess's gentle nature. AROUND CHILDREN: Tess is untested around children, but we feel lots of noise and activity in the home would not suit her. Tess is low-key and needs such an environment for her forever home. She would be happiest with empty nesters, a single or couple without children. HOUSEBROKEN: Yes CRATETRAINED: Yes LEASH MANNERS: Very good CAR RIDES: Very good FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Tess is a very friendly little dog with a happy tail! She is very loveable and has made herself right at home with her foster siblings. She is very smart and wants to please. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Tess was surrendered to the Montgomery shelter by her owner because she went into heat and the owner didn't like other dogs coming around. Tess was really scared and shaking in the shelter. BFPA pulled her and she visibly relaxed as soon as the shelter was left far behind her. She is now patiently waiting for a forever home.
