STATUS: Reese has found her forever home in Cary with Ashley and Jed Humphries. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Smart, sweet, friendly, playful, loves to give kisses. ~DOB: July 2014 WEIGHT: Could be 45+lbs when fully grown HEALTH STATUS: Reese is fully vaccinated and on monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention. SPAYED OR NEUTERED: Spayed. MICROCHIPPED: Yes. AROUND DOGS: Very good AROUND CATS: Very good AROUND CHILDREN: untested - as with all young puppies, extra care should always be taken around children HOUSEBROKEN: Almost there! CRATETRAINED: Yes, Reese sleeps through the night in her crate. LEASH MANNERS: Reese loves to go for walks. CAR RIDES: Reese travels in a crate on car rides. We're taking her on short trips to get her use to traveling. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Reese is a sweet dog. Anyone would be lucky to have this precious puppy in their home. You will adore her as we have! When we first took her home, she was all skin and bones and extremely timid. She stole our hearts and we knew she needed a better home that made sure she got food and attention. After a few weeks with us, Reese has made a complete turnaround in her attitude and energy. She has gained much needed weight and loves life! EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Reese's former owner apparently turned up at a charity event with a box of puppies and was trying to give them away . They also were handling these puppies in a very rough manner. Reese's rescuers saw her there and couldn't walk away, so took her home. They reached out to BFPA for help, and we will see to it that Reese goes to a home where she is safe and cherished. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
