STATUS: Macey was first fostered -- then adopted -- by Amy & Justin Fabriziani, their 3 children and their Basset Hound Abby, all of Apex. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Macey is smart and loving. She can be a little unsure at first, but warms up quickly. ~DOB: March 2014 WEIGHT: Macey will probably weigh 75-80lbs when fully grown HEALTH STATUS: Macey is UTD on all vaccinations -- including Rabies -- and is on monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. SPAYED OR NEUTERED: Spayed. MICRO CHIPPED: Yes. AROUND DOGS: Excellent, loves to play with other dogs. AROUND CATS: untested AROUND CHILDREN: Macey should be great around older children and teens. HOUSEBROKEN: puppy in training CRATETRAINED: yes LEASH MANNERS: puppy in training CAR RIDES: puppy in training FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: We affectionately call Macey "Batdog," as she has the cutest up that stick straight up! Macey is a pretty dog. She is also smart and happy. She can be abit shy initially in new surroundings. She is quickly adapting and will make a wonderful companion for a single, couple or family! Macey would do best with another dog to play with and to gain confidence from and/or with a person/family used to the German Shepherd or similar breed EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Sweet Macey was adopted by a family in Roxboro. They had acquired her as a tiny pup, but because they did not have time for her she was kept on a chain in their yard. The family then reached out to BFPA to take her in, rather than place her in a shelter.
