FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Kira is one of the most loving dogs you will ever meet. From the moment she was rescued, she has shown nothing but trust and affection. She is a sweet and gentle soul that is eager to please. She loves other dogs and will play with dogs of any size. Kira is currently in a home with other big and small dogs and loves them all.
Her tail never stops wagging and she loves nothing more than to jump on your lap and cuddle. If you stop cuddling her, she reminds you by giving you kisses. Kira loves belly rubs and will eventually fall asleep -- they feel so good!
Kira must have lived in a home before as she loves to hang out on the couch and be where the action is. Kira comes when called and loves to follow you around. She is light on her feet and can jump up on any couch or chair. She loves being outside and exploring the fenced yard.
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Kira is a lucky girl to have been rescued. A BFPA volunteer was at a rural animal shelter picking up an abandoned puppy when Kira was brought in as an owner surrender. The Animal Control Officer saw how sweet and precious Kira was and begged the volunteer to take her too. And we did!
