STATUS: Rusty is a foster failure! He has been adopted by Marie Pierce, her dog Roxie, and cats Frankie, Coz and Maddie -- all of Cary.
PERSONALITY TRAITS: Sweet, loving,gentle, laid back.

WEIGHT: 65, but needs to lose a few.
HEALTH STATUS: Rusty has no health issues. He had a full senior blood panel in July 2014, done by BFPA's vet. All his levels are perfect, he is a healthy boy, Rusty is also UTD on all vaccines -- including rabies -- and is on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives.

CRATETRAINED: Rusty has never had to be crated in his foster home.

CAR RIDES: Good, sits nicely in the back seat.
FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Rusty has been a wonderful addition to our household. He likes his foster dog sisters, and foster cats. He is great around new people, but he will sound the bark alarm when someone comes to the door. Thatâs his job, after all!
Rusty knows basic commands like sit, shake and wait.
Donât let Rustyâs age fool you. He has the traits of a much younger dog coupled with the wisdom of age. He does not beg, chew, or have accidents in the house. He is a perfect gentlemen. He love to go for walks and to be around people.
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Rusty was a member of a family for over 10 years. Then the parents were divorced. Neither of them could take him. so he was surrendered to a kill shelter at a very busy time. Luckily BFPA saw Rusty's photo and rushed to pull him and put him safely in our Foster Network.

All animals will be up to date on all
vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption
is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
