STATUS: Ginger has been adopted by Cheryl Fuller of Durham, along with another adorable ChiPug, Ripley.. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Confident, friendly, fun, loving ~DOB: March 2010 WEIGHT: 17 lbs (Ginger could stand to lose a pound or two). HEALTH STATUS: UTD on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives. SPAYED OR NEUTERED: Spayed MICROCHIPPED: Yes AROUND DOGS: Wonderful with other dogs - very sociable. AROUND CATS: Untested, but probably OK with dog-savvy cats. AROUND CHILDREN: Untested, but probably OK with older children who know how to behave around small dogs. HOUSEBROKEN: In training CRATETRAINED: Yes LEASH MANNERS: In training. Ginger would probably prefer a harness to a collar. CAR RIDES: Great rider. Very quiet and calm. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Ginger is a happy and extremely friendly little dog, she likes all people and other dogs. She has never met a biscuit that she did not like so needs to shed a pound or two. Ginger is outgoing and curious about her new world. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Fayetteville Animal Protection, a no-kill shelter, contacted BFPA as they had rescued 24 Chihuahua/Pug mixes from a puppy mill situation. Two of our wonderful volunteers went down to meet the little dogs, and brought 4 back to BFPA. Ginger, Cassie, Milo and Ripley are now waiting patiently for their loving forever homes Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
