STATUS: Sable has found her forever home with Cathy and Mike Karlovich and their dog Cody -- all of Apex. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Playful, loves affection, well-behaved ~DOB: August 2013 WEIGHT: 40 lbs HEALTH STATUS: UTD on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives. SPAYED OR NEUTERED: Spayed MICROCHIPPED: Yes AROUND DOGS: Sable loves other dogs and plays really well. She is not dominant towards other dogs. AROUND CATS: Sable has not been tested with cats but based on her calm personality we believe she would be respectful of cats. AROUND CHILDREN: Sable is very gentle with children and loves to get attention from them. HOUSEBROKEN: Yes CRATETRAINED: Yes LEASH MANNERS: Walking on a leash is a new experience for Sable but she is making progress and we feel she will master it with a bit more training. CAR RIDES: She rides well in a car, she will lay quietly and does not needed to be crated. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Sable is a very gentle and calm dog. She loves to snuggle and hang out with her family. She plays great with other dogs and has learned to use a dog door. She loves her toys, especially a deer antler and a squeaky dinosaur which is her favorite. She is crated while her foster parents work but enjoys sleeping in the bed at night. She will bark if she hears something but is not overly vocal. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Sable and her sister Sage were dumped in a good Samaritan's backyard and were starving, weighing only 15lbs each. Their guardian got the girls back up to a good weight but unfortunately could not keep them due to a pending move to another state. BFPA gladly admitted them. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
