FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Ruby has made great strides since joining our foster home. She came to us with some serious trust issues and was very skittish and scared â especially towards men. She is now a joy to be around and much more adaptable to new people and situations. Ruby is comfortable living in a busy house with 3 kids, 3 cats and a changing number of dogs/puppies. Ruby is happiest when she is right by your side and will be a devoted member of her adoptive family. An absolute treasure.
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Ruby was a stray picked up by the Wake County Animal Shelter and was heart worm positive. She underwent successful treatment and is fully recovered. Our vet discovered she has a b-b pellet in her back hip, which indicates past abuse. However, her sweet nature shows she does not hold a grudge! Ruby will make a fantastic companion and family pet.
