HEALTH: Rocky is UTD on all vaccinations -- including rabies -- and is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. STERILIZED: Neutered MICROCHIPPED: Yes DOGS: Rocky likes to play with the female dog in his foster home. He previously lived with a female Bulldog. CATS: Untested, but Rocky does not appear to have a strong prey drive. He even ran away from a fox! CHILDREN: Untested, but his exuberance might be a little much for younger children. 10YO child and older would likely be fine. HOUSEBROKEN: Yes CRATETRAINED: Yes LEASH MANNERS: In training. CAR RIDES: Rocky is learning how to enjoy a car ride. Going somewhere can be fun! FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Rocky is a sweet boy who came to BFPA via owner surrender. His beautiful red and white coat is as soft as a bunny's. He likes to snuggle for a bit, but his independent streak emerges and he will go off to find his chew toy. Rocky loves to run, and does well with a human leader to give him positive reinforcement and direct his energy appropriately. He is very smart and will make an excellent companion! EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Rocky was owned by a couple that has since split up. The owner then felt she did not have the time or means to care for a dog properly, so she reached out to BFPA. We are happy to help this sweet dog find a new forever home. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.
