STATUS: Raisin has been adopted by Kate Parkinson and her dog Eden (also adopted from BFPA), all of Durham. PERSONALITY: Smart, playful, curious ~DOB: November 2012 WEIGHT: We expect Raisin will be about 55+ lbs as an adult dog. HEALTH: UTD on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives. STERILIZED: Spayed MICROCHIPPED: Yes DOGS: Raisin loves other dogs. CATS: Raisin is fine with cats. CHILDREN: She hasn’t been around young children yet, but I’m sure she will do just fine. She’s a puppy! HOUSEBROKEN: Puppy in training. CRATETRAINED: Puppy in training. LEASH MANNERS: Puppy in training. CAR RIDES: Raisin does well in the car. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Raisin is such a sweet little girl!! She is the typical puppy, loves her toys and playing with other animals. She has a great time playing tug of war with my little Chihuahua! EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Raisin was found on the side of the road by the German Shepherd Rescue with wounds all over her back. The vet seems to think that a hawk might have attacked her. Raisin is doing much better now and her wounds are healing up very nicely. We rarely adopt outside a 30-mile radius of the Triangle area of North Carolina.

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
