FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:Quinn is very affectionate towards people and does not know a stranger -- a happier dog you will not meet! Her tail wags constantly and she looks up at you with her big, beautiful brown eyes asking for attention. Quinn loves to give kisses and to cuddle. Her favorite pastime is to be loved on by humans while snuggled up on the couch. Quinn is eager to please and knows that a good girl sits before she gets food, toys or treats. Quinn can get excited when she sees people, and she needs to be watched around small children. Her excitement around new dogs dictates that she must be properly introduced to them. Once she knows the dog, she is very happy to join the pack and play. Quinn has learned to respect and love the other dog in her foster home, a male Rat Terrier. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Quinn was picked up as a stray in Nash County and taken to the local shelter. On the way, she gave birth to 8 puppies in the animal control truck. Sadly, 2 of the puppies did not make it but the next day she gave birth to two more in the shelter. Quinn was emaciated and in poor health when rescued, but gradually came back to good health. She was a dedicated Momma to her pups. All those puppies have found good homes and Quinn continues to wait patiently for her forever family.
