STATUS: Adopted PERSONALITY: Wants to be the center of everything and is happiest when someone is holding her. ~DOB: 3/2011 AGE RANGE: Kitten FUR LENGTH: Short hair COLOR: Silver Tabby STERILIZED: Spayed DECLAWED: No but her nails are easily trimmed SOCIABILITY WITH CATS: Needs a playmate and snuggle friend SOCIABILITY WITH DOGS: No issues, kitty manners always preferred though AROUND CHILDREN: Over 8 will delight her, gentle and loving COMMENTS FROM FOSTER HOME: Fern was the only little girl in her litter. She is the sweetest of them all too. She is an instant lap cat, and never misses an opportunity to sit with you. She even learned to sit under her foster mom’s hands while she works on her laptop. Fern also has the one touch purr button. Children over 8 will find a great kitten in Fern with all the great kitten qualities. She has been raised with a sweet large dog who is very kitty friendly. This adorable kitten is just what you are looking for isn’t she? EVERY CAT HAS A STORY: Her momma was a stray and had her kittens at the Durham Rescue Mission. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
