FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Kiwi is a sweet and happy pup!  She absolutely loves her chew toys.  She learns very quickly and though she is deaf, she is incredibly attentive and has already mastered the hand signs for "sit", "come" and "down".  Kiwi is very food motivated which makes training time very fun!  She has a sweet and gentle temperament and loves attention and snuggles.  We feel that Kiwi would be happiest in a home with another dog to play with and learn from.  Kiwi is patiently waiting to find her forever family and we know that she will make them very happy!

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Kiwi was 1 of a litter of 10 puppies that were surrendered to a high kill rural shelter when the shelter was at capacity.  BFPA and several other wonderful rescues teamed up to save all 10 puppies.  We were very happy to bring Kiwi and her sister, Mango, into our BFPA family.
