STATUS: Accepting applications FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Georgia is going to be a great dog. She is smart (and adventurous -- she discovered she can climb over a sheer vertical 16” barrier!) She is sweet and playful with everyone. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Georgia’s momma showed up in a neighborhood, heavily pregnant. A good Samaritan took her in and she gave birth to Georgia and her 7 siblings. The rescuer reached out to BFPA for help and we gladly brought this wonderful family into our care ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING GEORGIA?
